Equine and Animal Assisted Activities
Equine and Animal Assisted Activities have improved the quality of life, health & wellness for children and adults with special challenges in the United States since 1969 and before. MCE professional staff are Massachusetts State Licensed Riding Instructors as well as Therapeutic Licensed Instructors through PATH Int’l (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International). Volunteer opportunities, college & high school internships, community service hours, and more are available.
MCE provides mentors for those seeking Mass. Riding Instructor License and PATH Int’l Certification by PATH Int’l Advanced Riding Instructor, Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning, Special Olympics Equestrian Coach. Accepting applications for lessons beginning January 2019!
Our mission is to provide trust, compassion and respect through the eyes of a horse. MCE provides a safe family friendly environment surrounded by nature.Individuals are offered education, physical activity, social opportunities, and emotional support through equine and animal assisted activities and learning.
We welcome Veterans, First Responders, and Children who are faced with adversities.
